There are many ways to become part of Pawsitive Pets and experience love on a leash! Pawsitive Pets is a non profit organization that is powered by the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Simply choose from the categories below and we look forward to having you as a member!
Membership Options & Support
Pawsitive Partner with one Animal - $75
This fee includes your pet assisted therapy evaluation & testing. Registration is for lifetime membership with annual renewals.
Pawsitive Partner without an Animal (New Member & Renewal) - $35
People who do not have an animal can assist PPI teams by interacting with staff and clients on visits. Volunteers help organize events, help teams at libraries and bookstores, assist with fundraising activities, and provide educational presentations on benefits of animal-assisted activities and therapy through PPI. Individuals with no animal must complete the training requirements and pass the volunteer review. They may register at the reduced fee of $20 and will receive a volunteer identification badge.
Pawsitive Partner Senior (New member)- $60
Senior registration for volunteers 55+ or who have a disability is $25 and includes your pet's visiting identification tag and your volunteer identification badge.
Pawsitive Partner Additional Handler(s)(New Member & Renewal) - $35 each
This fee applies when an additional handler is registering with a previously registered animal, either at the same time, or after that of the animal's initial registration. When registering additional handlers, complete and submit all forms, and include a photo of each additional handler with the animal.
Pawsitive Partner Additional Animal(s)(New Member & Renewal) - $35 each
This fee applies when you are registering an additional animal either at the same time, or after your initial registration. When registering an additional animal, complete and submit all forms, and include a photo of each additional animal with handler.
Facilities (hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, assisted living centers, retirement homes, hospice, schools (public & private), libraries and all other qualified facilities - $150 (per quarter)
This fee is applied to the pet assisted therapy team to assist with training, certification, apparel, insurance, and grooming.
